V-Neck Prom Dress

Size:12EEE

Condition: Came to us with a very old dry-cleaning tag attached (we removed it), but has acquired scattered age spots in the interim (some shown in photo collage, but please look very carefully at ALL the photos, as the spots are light, diffuse, and scattered throughout Please note that the spots are only conspicuous under bright lights They're not noticeable in ordinary indoor lighting, and would be all but invisible in a party/evening event setting These subtle spots may lift with cleaning, but we make no guarantees as they have been there for a long time. There are wedge-shaped insets of matching (original) fabric at either side of the bodice These may be part of the original design, or may have been inserted at some point in the distant past to accommodate a larger bust They could easily be removed and the seam sewn shut to make the dress 4"/10cm smaller at the bust, tapering toward the natural waist This dress presents beautifully It's a stunner. Garment Measurements: (The dress is quite big on Cecelia the Dress Form and has been clipped to fit her for the photos.) shoulders: 15"/38cm bust: up to 40"/101.5cm (or up to 36"/91.5cm) if you remove the triangular insets at either side seam natural waist: 30"/76cm at drop waist: 38"/96.5cm hips: free length: 45"/114cm hem sweep: 176"/440cm ☞ Our items are not newly manufactured "vintage style" pieces They are true vintage, at least 30 years old Please read condition report provided above ☜ Notes: International customers are responsible for any taxes or import fees
